SMS Consent Process

How we get permission before we text you

Verbal consent on a phone call

saiflows collects verbal consent for text messages during live phone calls. Before sending any text, our representative reads the following:

Representative: “I can text you the Zoom link for our meeting, along with reminders and scheduling updates. It’s usually just a few messages around our meeting. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out anytime. Our terms and privacy policy are at saiflows.com/terms and saiflows.com/privacy-policy. Is it okay if I text you at this number, yes or no?”

Customer: “Yes.”

Representative: “Great, you’ll get a confirmation text shortly.”

Confirmation message

Sent immediately after the customer agrees:

saiflows: You’re subscribed to meeting and scheduling texts. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

How we record consent

We record the date, time, phone number, and method of each consent. Texts are only sent after the customer says yes. Customers who decline are not texted.

Consent on our website

We also collect SMS consent through an optional, unchecked checkbox on our Book a Call form at saiflows.com/book-a-call. The form can be submitted without checking it. This is the checkbox as it appears on the form:
